📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily branch accounts including cash receipts, disbursements, and expense vouchers in Tally
• Reconcile loan ledger against collection MIS and flag discrepancies to branch manager
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly branch P and L reports and submit to head office finance
• Handle branch petty cash and ensure adherence to cash management policy of the MFI
• Process TDS deductions and basic GST entries for branch vendor and service payments
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliation and resolve outstanding entries with operations team
• Prepare clean audit-ready files for internal and external audit reviews

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you hold a B.Com degree and have hands-on Tally ERP experience?
• Have you maintained branch-level accounts for an NBFC, MFI, or small finance bank?
• Can you perform loan ledger reconciliation and identify discrepancies in daily entries?
• Are you comfortable with TDS calculations and basic GST entry for branch expenses?
• How do you manage branch cash controls and petty cash in a high-transaction MFI branch?
• Have you prepared branch P and L reports for management or head office review?
• How do you handle discrepancies found during monthly bank reconciliation?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

Graduate degree in any stream for loan officer and field roles (minimum qualification at most MFIs); NISM Series V-A for MFI staff handling mutual fund cross-sell; RBI NBFC-MFI compliance awareness and Responsible Finance guidelines (RBI Harmonised Guidelines 2022) for operations; PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) and KYC awareness for branch roles; credit analysis and cashflow assessment training for credit officer roles; training in JLG (Joint Liability Group) lending methodology; Tamil language fluency required for field-facing roles in Coimbatore
