📌 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all branch operations including loan disbursement, collection, and credit appraisal functions
• Lead and motivate a team of loan officers and collection executives to meet monthly targets
• Monitor portfolio-at-risk and delinquency indicators and implement corrective recovery actions
• Ensure RBI NBFC-MFI compliance, responsible lending norms, and fair practice code adherence at branch
• Review and approve loan applications within sanctioned authority and coordinate credit decisions
• Prepare branch MIS reports and submit to area manager with performance commentary
• Conduct weekly team meetings to review field performance and address operational challenges

Graduate degree in any stream for loan officer and field roles (minimum qualification at most MFIs); NISM Series V-A for MFI staff handling mutual fund cross-sell; RBI NBFC-MFI compliance awareness and Responsible Finance guidelines (RBI Harmonised Guidelines 2022) for operations; PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) and KYC awareness for branch roles; credit analysis and cashflow assessment training for credit officer roles; training in JLG (Joint Liability Group) lending methodology; Tamil language fluency required for field-facing roles in Coimbatore
