📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop brand positioning frameworks, brand architecture strategies, and consumer insight platforms for new and existing client brands
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer research including focus group moderation, consumer interviews, and survey data analysis to uncover brand insights
• Write brand strategy documents including brand essence statements, positioning territories, key message hierarchies, and target audience personas
• Develop campaign strategy briefs that translate consumer insight and brand positioning into inspiring creative directions for the creative team
• Lead brand strategy and pitch presentations to senior client stakeholders, demonstrating how the proposed positioning drives business and communication effectiveness
• Monitor brand performance data, advertising effectiveness research, and competitive brand activity to refine and evolve brand strategies over time
• Collaborate with account management, creative, and media teams to ensure all campaign elements are built on and consistently express the agreed brand strategy

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 to 7 years of brand planning, brand strategy, or strategic planning experience at an advertising agency, management consultancy, or brand owner
• MBA in Marketing or a Graduate degree in Advertising or Social Sciences with strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills
• Experience developing brand positioning strategies backed by consumer research for FMCG, retail, healthcare, automotive, or real estate brand categories
• Demonstrated ability to write compelling strategy presentations and campaign brief documents that inspire strong creative output from agency teams
• Proficiency in consumer research methodologies including focus group facilitation, consumer interview analysis, and survey data interpretation
• Strong commercial acumen with understanding of how brand strategy investments translate into market share, pricing power, and consumer loyalty outcomes
• Ability to synthesise market data, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence into clear, differentiated brand strategic recommendations
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
