📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete canteen operations at an assigned corporate or industrial catering site including kitchen, service, and housekeeping.
• Own site-level P and L including food cost, labour cost, and operational expense reporting to the catering company management.
• Plan daily and weekly menus in coordination with the head cook and in alignment with client preferences and contract specifications.
• Roster and supervise site kitchen and service staff and manage attendance, leave, and staffing gap resolution.
• Coordinate with the catering company vendor team on daily raw material procurement, quality checks, and invoice management.
• Maintain FSSAI compliance at the canteen site including food safety registers, hygiene audit records, and staff certification tracking.
• Prepare daily cover reports, food cost summaries, and client satisfaction reports for submission to area operations management.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate or Bachelor of Hotel Management from a recognised institution with catering operations management experience.
• Two to six years of experience in corporate canteen, industrial mess, or institutional food service management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage site-level food cost, control raw material waste, and report financial metrics accurately.
• Strong interpersonal and client management skills to maintain positive relationships with client site HR and administration teams.
• Knowledge of FSSAI regulations, hygiene audit processes, and food safety documentation required for catering site operations.
• Experience in menu planning for industrial or corporate catering formats covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack menus.
• Proficiency in basic MS Excel for daily cover reporting, food cost tracking, and MIS preparation.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
