📋 Job Description

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP for the catering company including sales, purchase, and expense transactions.
• Prepare and issue monthly client invoices for catering contracts covering per-cover charges, special event billings, and reimbursables.
• Track accounts receivable from catering clients and follow up for payment collection within agreed contract credit terms.
• Process vendor invoices for raw material suppliers and service providers and coordinate payment approvals with management.
• Reconcile daily cash collections from canteen sites with bank deposits and prepare daily cash and bank reconciliation statements.
• Assist in GST return preparation including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing and maintain input tax credit records for catering purchases.
• Prepare monthly financial MIS reports for catering operations covering revenue, cost, and profitability by contract site.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Com degree from a recognised university; semi-qualified CA or CMA candidates are also considered.
• Zero to three years of accounting experience; prior experience in a catering, hospitality, or FandB company is preferred.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime for accounting entries, invoicing, and financial report generation.
• Working knowledge of GST including invoice formats, GSTR filings, and input tax credit management.
• Accuracy and attention to detail in billing, reconciliation, and accounts receivable follow-up activities.
• Ability to manage multiple catering client accounts simultaneously and maintain updated receivables schedules.
• Good communication skills to interact with client finance teams on invoice queries and payment follow-ups.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
