📌 Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all raw material deliveries at the catering store and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate stock records for dry goods, perishables, and packaging materials using Tally or the company's ERP system.
• Implement FIFO stock rotation across all dry and cold store areas to minimise wastage and ensure first-in stock is used first.
• Issue raw materials to the production kitchen on authorised requisition and record all daily stock movements accurately.
• Coordinate with the catering purchase team on vendor delivery schedules, shortfall reporting, and emergency procurement needs.
• Monitor expiry dates of all perishable and packaged items and raise alerts for items approaching expiry to the store manager.
• Prepare daily and weekly stock reports including consumption summaries, closing stock balances, and variance analysis.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree in any discipline; B.Com or diploma in stores management is preferred for catering inventory roles.
• Zero to three years of experience in a raw material store or warehouse in a catering, food manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
• Proficiency in Tally or any ERP-based inventory management system for maintaining catering store records.
• Knowledge of FIFO stock management and the importance of correct raw material rotation in food safety compliance.
• Ability to inspect and assess the quality of perishable and dry ingredients during vendor deliveries.
• Good numerical accuracy and documentation skills for maintaining GRNs, issue vouchers, and daily stock registers.
• Physical ability to manage store operations including stacking, labelling, and organising dry and cold store areas.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
