📌 Key Responsibilities

• Drive catering delivery vehicles to transport cooked food in sealed containers from the central production kitchen to assigned delivery sites.
• Ensure all food containers are correctly sealed, labelled with contents and temperatures, and loaded safely before departure.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and timetables to ensure food arrives at client sites within the required service windows.
• Conduct vehicle pre-trip checks including tyre pressure, fuel, cleanliness of the delivery area, and functionality of hot boxes.
• Coordinate with site catering supervisors on delivery handover and obtain acknowledgement for each food consignment delivered.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle cleanliness and the hygiene of the food transport area in compliance with FSSAI guidelines.
• Report vehicle defects, delivery delays, or client complaints to the catering operations manager immediately on occurrence.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass with a valid Light Motor Vehicle driving licence for operating delivery vans and food transport vehicles.
• Zero to three years of experience in delivery driving, transport, or food logistics in Coimbatore city conditions.
• Knowledge of Coimbatore roads, industrial zones, and key catering delivery areas including Guindy, Ambattur, and Perungudi.
• Understanding of food safety requirements for catering transport including sealed containers, hot boxes, and temperature records.
• Reliable and punctual with ability to manage early morning food dispatch schedules for corporate and factory catering clients.
• Good interpersonal skills for coordinating with site staff and catering supervisors at client delivery locations.
• Clean driving record; preference for candidates with prior experience driving in an institutional or catering transport role.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
