📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the catering service floor at a corporate canteen, factory mess, or event catering assignment and manage the service crew.
• Set up counters, serving stations, and buffet layouts before each meal service and ensure correct presentation standards.
• Manage queue control and smooth food service flow during peak meal service windows to minimise waiting time.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team on food readiness, replenishment of serving counters, and temperature maintenance of items.
• Address client and employee feedback at the catering site professionally and escalate major complaints to the catering manager.
• Prepare daily shift reports covering covers served, food feedback, staffing, and any operational incidents.
• Ensure FSSAI hygiene standards are maintained on the service floor including counter cleanliness, utensil hygiene, and staff grooming.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree or Diploma in Hotel Management with relevant catering floor or canteen supervision experience.
• One to four years of experience in industrial canteen, corporate cafeteria, or event catering service supervision.
• Ability to manage a service crew of four to twelve staff during canteen or event catering operations.
• Good Tamil and basic English communication skills for coordinating with site clients and catering company management.
• Knowledge of FSSAI food safety documentation and ability to complete basic compliance records at the catering site.
• Experience in counter and buffet setup, portion control monitoring, and replenishment during live service.
• Professional appearance and calm demeanour to represent the catering company to client site personnel and management.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
