📌 Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall business strategy and product vision for the fintech startup
- Lead fundraising efforts including seed, Series A, and growth rounds by building investor relationships and presenting compelling pitch narratives
- Own the P and L and ensure the company achieves revenue, unit economics, and growth targets aligned with investor expectations
- Navigate RBI licensing requirements for payment aggregator, NBFC, or PPI registration and ongoing regulatory compliance
- Build and retain the founding team and executive leadership across product, engineering, operations, and finance functions
- Represent the company to banking partners, enterprise clients, regulators, and the media as the primary external face
- Drive strategic partnerships with banks, technology companies, and distribution partners to accelerate growth and market entry
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- MBA from a premier institution or CA/CFA with demonstrated fintech entrepreneurship or senior leadership experience
- 8 - 20 Years of experience in fintech, banking, or technology with at least one successful startup or product leadership role
- Deep understanding of fintech business models including payment aggregation, digital lending, insurtech, or wealthtech
- Experience with fundraising, investor relations, and VC/PE fund processes in the Indian startup ecosystem
- Strong grasp of RBI regulatory frameworks relevant to the fintech business model being pursued
- Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and lead organizations through rapid growth phases
- Exceptional communication, vision articulation, and stakeholder management skills for diverse audiences
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
