📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop tile surface design patterns and colour palettes for new ceramic and vitrified tile collections
• Create digital artwork files for inkjet printing on ceramic and porcelain tile surfaces using design software
• Research global tile design trends and adapt styles to suit Coimbatore and South India market preferences
• Coordinate with production and kiln firing teams to ensure designs translate accurately to the final tile surface
• Prepare design specifications including print colour coordinates, glaze specifications, and surface texture requirements
• Review and approve pre-production print samples and fired tile design samples for colour accuracy and pattern alignment
• Support marketing and commercial teams with product catalogue imagery and tile collection presentation materials

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Ceramic Design, B.Design, or B.F.A. with a focus on surface design or applied arts from a recognised institution
• 0-3 years of design experience in ceramic tiles, laminates, or allied surface decoration products
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop, or equivalent tile design tools
• Understanding of inkjet digital print process for ceramic tiles and basic knowledge of glaze chemistry is preferred
• Creative ability to develop market-relevant tile design collections with awareness of current interior design trends
• Good colour perception and ability to interpret ceramic colour standards and glaze specifications
• Strong coordination skills for working with production, kiln, and quality teams to achieve accurate design output
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
