📌 Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound patient calls and walk-in queries regarding test packages, test preparation instructions, sample collection appointments, and report delivery timelines.
• Respond to outbound follow-up requirements by calling patients whose reports are pending, whose samples were haemolysed or insufficient, or who need to repeat tests.
• Guide patients through available health package options including full body checkup packages, preventive health panels, and disease-specific monitoring packages offered by the centre.
• Coordinate with corporate HR clients for employee health checkup scheduling, bulk invoice generation, and corporate account query resolution.
• Register patient feedback and complaints in the CRM system, escalate unresolved issues to the centre manager, and follow up with the patient after resolution.
• Communicate critical and urgent report notifications to patients and referring doctors as directed by the lab physician or report coordinator.
• Support digital channel customer service including responding to WhatsApp messages, email queries, and online booking platform inquiries in a timely manner.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline with prior customer service experience in a hospital, diagnostic centre, pharmacy, or health insurance environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in Tamil and English with a clear, empathetic, and professional telephone manner for patient-facing interactions.
• Ability to explain diagnostic test packages, preparation requirements, and pricing clearly to patients without medical jargon.
• Experience with CRM software or healthcare management systems for call logging, complaint registration, and query follow-up tracking.
• Knowledge of common diagnostic tests and health checkup packages to guide patient decision-making and upsell appropriate preventive panels.
• Resilience and patience for handling difficult or anxious patients and the ability to de-escalate complaints professionally.
• Familiarity with multi-channel communication including phone, email, and WhatsApp for responding to patient and corporate client inquiries.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
