📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL and ELT data pipelines that move data from source systems to analytical warehouses
• Develop Python-based data ingestion scripts to extract data from APIs, databases, flat files, and streaming sources
• Implement and manage Apache Airflow DAGs to schedule, monitor, and orchestrate complex data pipeline workflows
• Optimise data processing jobs using Apache Spark to handle large-scale batch and near-real-time data sets
• Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and design transformation logic
• Monitor pipeline health, set up alerting for failures, and troubleshoot data quality issues in production environments
• Build and maintain cloud-based data lake and data warehouse solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. Computer Science or a related engineering degree with one to five years of data engineering experience
• Strong Python programming skills for data pipeline development, scripting, and automation
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for large-scale distributed data processing
• Experience building and managing workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow or a similar tool
• Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and validation within pipeline workflows
• Working knowledge of cloud data services on at least one major cloud platform
• Understanding of data modelling, data lake architecture, and partitioning strategies for performance
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
