📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during clinical procedures at the dental chair
• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments following DCI infection-control protocols
• Mix dental materials such as alginate, zinc oxide and gypsum products
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the operatory between patients
• Communicate with patients to ease anxiety and explain basic care instructions
• Maintain stock of disposables and alert supervisor when restocking is needed
• Support senior staff during student clinical supervision sessions

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 10th or 12th standard pass from a recognised board
• Certificate in Dental Assistance or Chair-side Assistance preferred
• Sterilisation and infection control training is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English
• Willingness to work flexible clinical shifts
• Prior experience in a dental clinic or dental college hospital is preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
