📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute catering setup for weddings, corporate events, and social functions as assigned by the catering company.
• Lead the event service crew in buffet layout, live counter setup, tray service, and plated service depending on event format.
• Coordinate with the production kitchen on food dispatch timings, container sealing, and temperature-safe transportation to event venues.
• Brief the event service team on assignment details, service sequence, guest count, and special dietary requirements before each event.
• Manage live cooking counters such as pasta, dosa, or tandoor stations at events ensuring food quality and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee post-event equipment packing, leftover food handling, and venue cleanup by the catering team.
• Prepare event completion reports covering covers served, food feedback, crew attendance, and any service incidents.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management with hands-on experience in wedding or corporate event catering operations.
• One to four years of experience in event catering setup, buffet service management, or banquet operations.
• Ability to manage an event crew of five to twenty service staff during live catering assignments.
• Physical stamina and readiness to work extended hours, evening events, and weekend wedding catering assignments.
• Knowledge of buffet counter standards, food safety during live service, and correct temperature holding for event catered food.
• Good coordination skills to liaise with event venue staff, clients, and the production kitchen during live catering operations.
• Professional appearance and client-facing communication skills in Tamil and English for event catering site management.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
