📌 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute press conferences, product launches, media previews, and brand activation events for PR agency clients across Coimbatore and nationally
• Manage end-to-end event production including venue selection, vendor briefing, technical setup, media registration, and on-site logistics coordination
• Coordinate media attendance at PR events including invitations, RSVP management, press kit distribution, and post-event follow-up for coverage generation
• Develop event concepts, run-of-show documents, spokesperson briefing notes, and media engagement programmes for each client event
• Manage event budgets including vendor negotiations, cost tracking, and post-event reconciliation with accountability to agreed client budget parameters
• Brief and supervise event vendors including production companies, audiovisual suppliers, catering partners, and venue management teams
• Compile post-event reports covering attendance, media coverage generated, social media activity, and key outcomes for client review meetings

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of event management experience in a PR agency, event management company, or corporate communications team
• Demonstrated experience planning and executing press conferences, product launch events, or brand activation campaigns that generated earned media coverage
• Strong vendor and venue management skills with the ability to handle production timelines, technical requirements, and on-site event operations under pressure
• Experience coordinating media attendance at events including press invitation management, media kit preparation, and journalist interaction protocols
• Sound budget management ability including preparing cost estimates, negotiating with vendors, and reconciling post-event expenditure accurately
• Graduate degree in Event Management, Mass Communication, Marketing, or any discipline; MBA in Marketing is preferred for senior roles
• Knowledge of Coimbatore's event venues, production vendors, and media landscape is an advantage for candidates applying to Coimbatore-based PR agencies
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
