📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce FSSAI food safety and hygiene compliance across all catering kitchens and service sites in the assigned zone.
• Conduct scheduled and surprise food safety audits at catering production kitchens and canteen sites and prepare audit reports.
• Maintain HACCP documentation including hazard analysis, critical control point records, and corrective action logs.
• Monitor food temperature logs for cooking, hot holding, cold storage, and chilled transportation of catered food items.
• Coordinate microbiological testing of food samples and swabs from kitchen surfaces and maintain test records and reports.
• Liaise with pest control contractors, water quality testing agencies, and laboratory service providers for catering sites.
• Train kitchen and service staff on food safety SOPs, personal hygiene requirements, and FSSAI documentation practices.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline; B.Sc. in Hotel Management with food safety focus also accepted.
• FSSAI FoSTaC food safety supervisor certification is mandatory for this role in the catering sector.
• HACCP Level 2 certification required; FSSC 22000 or ISO 22000 internal auditor training is an advantage.
• One to four years of food safety or quality assurance experience in a catering, food manufacturing, or institutional kitchen setting.
• Ability to conduct systematic hygiene and food safety audits across multiple catering sites in the Coimbatore area.
• Strong documentation skills to maintain FSSAI registers, HACCP logs, non-conformance reports, and corrective action records.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English to train kitchen staff and liaise with client site managers on food safety matters.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
