📌 Key Responsibilities

• Operate POS billing terminal to scan footwear barcodes and process customer transactions accurately
• Handle cash, debit card, credit card, UPI, and digital wallet payments at the billing counter
• Apply correct GST rates on footwear categories and verify HSN codes during billing
• Process product exchanges and return transactions in line with the store's exchange policy
• Reconcile cash drawer at the start and close of each billing shift
• Process loyalty card points, promotional coupons, and exchange credit vouchers for customers
• Identify and report billing system discrepancies or price mismatches to the supervisor promptly

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce or any discipline from a recognised university
• Basic understanding of GST applicability on footwear categories and HSN codes
• Proficiency in operating POS billing terminals or willingness to undergo in-house training
• Accuracy in cash handling and ability to reconcile the cash drawer without shortages
• Good spoken Tamil and basic English for customer interaction at the billing counter
• Ability to work in shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Prior cashiering experience in any retail store is an advantage
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
