📌 Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with Farmer Producer Organisations and farmer self-help groups in the assigned territory
- Facilitate collective input procurement from the company for FPO member farmers and coordinate group delivery and payment logistics
- Link FPO member farmers to agri market buyers, commodity aggregators, or processing companies for their produce off-take
- Conduct farmer group meetings and FPO board presentations to introduce company products, platform services, and group pricing schemes
- Support FPO onboarding onto the company's agritech platform or procurement system and assist with initial digital adoption
- Submit weekly field reports on FPO engagement status, farmer onboarding counts, and group sales volumes to the area manager
- Travel to agricultural villages and rural areas in the assigned districts to attend FPO meetings and farmer group events
🎓 Qualifications and Requirements
- Have you worked with FPOs or farmer producer organisations in Tamil Nadu before?
- How do you build trust with an FPO board to get them to partner with a private company?
- Have you facilitated collective agri input procurement or produce marketing for farmer groups?
- Can you travel extensively to rural areas and attend village-level farmer group meetings?
- Are you comfortable communicating in Tamil with farmers and FPO board members?
- Have you onboarded farmer groups onto digital platforms or mobile apps?
- Which districts in Tamil Nadu do you have prior field experience in?
- Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
