📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Head Chef / Kitchen Lead positions in Coimbatore's private Cloud Kitchen sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead all kitchen production activities across multiple delivery menu brands operating from the cloud kitchen hub.
• Develop and standardise recipes for all active delivery brands ensuring consistent taste, portion, and food cost targets.
• Monitor daily food cost, manage raw material consumption, and identify wastage reduction opportunities across production shifts.
• Hire, train, and appraise kitchen helpers and cooks assigned to the hub and manage shift scheduling across the week.
• Ensure full FSSAI compliance, maintain kitchen hygiene audit scores, and implement food safety SOPs for the hub.
• Coordinate with the aggregator platform manager on menu changes, item availability, and delivery quality issues.
• Review delivery order rejection and rating data from Zomato and Swiggy and implement corrective cooking quality measures.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent culinary qualification from a recognised institution.
• Two to six years of kitchen experience with at least one year in a kitchen lead or head cook role.
• Experience managing multi-brand or multi-cuisine production in a cloud kitchen or high-volume delivery kitchen environment.
• Demonstrated food cost management capability with ability to plan, monitor, and report consumption variances.
• Strong leadership and people management skills to run a small kitchen team of three to ten staff across shifts.
• Deep understanding of FSSAI food safety, HACCP principles, and delivery kitchen hygiene standards.
• Good knowledge of Zomato and Swiggy order flow, delivery timelines, and rating impact of food quality issues.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
