📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end retail operations of the footwear chain across all states and store formats
• Own the national or multi-state retail P and L and present performance reviews to the board and investors
• Define and drive the footwear retail format strategy including store design, category layout, and customer experience standards
• Lead national vendor and category partnerships to deliver competitive buying prices and product differentiation
• Oversee new store expansion planning across cities and states in alignment with the board's growth strategy
• Build and develop the area and regional management leadership pipeline to support business scaling
• Represent the retail operations function in board meetings, investor presentations, and industry forums

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA from a recognised institution in Retail Management, General Management, or Business Administration
• Ten to twenty years of progressive retail operations experience with at least six years in a national or multi-state leadership role
• Demonstrated track record of managing large-scale footwear or fashion retail P and L with multiple regions reporting in
• Extensive experience in retail format development, new store expansion, and large-scale workforce planning
• Board-level communication and stakeholder management skills for engaging investors and external partners
• Deep cross-functional knowledge spanning operations, buying, supply chain, HR, and finance in a retail context
• Prior experience as Regional Director, COO, or National Operations Head at an organised retail chain is strongly preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
