📌 Key Responsibilities

• Classify imported medical devices under correct HS codes and verify duty structures for each device category
• File and track import licences and no-objection certificates from CDSCO for restricted medical devices
• Manage bill of entry filings with customs brokers and resolve queries raised by customs authorities
• Monitor shipment status, coordinate with freight forwarders, and escalate clearance delays
• Ensure DGFT portal filings for EPCG, advance licences, and other import-export policy benefits are current
• Maintain records of all import transactions including bills of entry, duty challans, and import licences
• Track regulatory changes to customs duty, BCD exemptions, and IGST rates for medical devices

• Which HS codes apply to medical devices and how do you determine the correct classification?
• Have you used the DGFT portal for licence applications or filings?
