📌 Key Responsibilities

• Operate circular knitting or flat bed knitting machines on the assigned production section as per the fabric specification and production plan
• Set and verify gauge, stitch density, and yarn feed tension according to the knitting programme and fabric requirement
• Monitor fabric output on the machine for dropped stitches, holes, needle lines, and patterning defects during the shift
• Carry out needle and sinker replacement on circular machines and perform basic machine setting adjustments as required
• Roll or fold knitted fabric pieces and label with fabric type, weight, and machine number for the finishing section
• Maintain machine cleanliness by removing fluff, yarn waste, and oil deposits at the prescribed maintenance intervals
• Report broken needles, cam box faults, or yarn feed problems to the maintenance technician and record in the shift register
