📌 Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyse market data for cement, paints, tiles, RMC, and allied building materials across assigned geographies
• Track competitor product pricing, scheme launches, dealer margin structures, and promotional activities in the market
• Develop demand forecasting models based on construction activity data, infrastructure project pipeline, and seasonal trends
• Prepare market intelligence reports and pricing recommendation briefs for the commercial and sales leadership teams
• Analyse trade channel margins, distributor viability, and dealer inventory patterns to inform pricing decisions
• Support product-wise profitability analysis and price realisation tracking against pricing strategy targets
• Use Excel, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools to build dashboards for market share and pricing performance monitoring

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• MBA in Marketing or Graduate with strong analytical skills; B.E. Civil with market research experience is also considered
• 1-4 years of experience in market research, pricing analysis, or commercial analytics in building materials, FMCG, or consumer products
• Strong data analysis and Excel skills with experience in building dashboards, pivot tables, and forecasting models
• Knowledge of building materials trade channels including dealer, sub-dealer, project, and direct contractor segments
• Familiarity with construction activity indicators such as housing starts, infrastructure project awards, and cement consumption data
• Good report writing and presentation skills for preparing market intelligence briefs for senior commercial teams
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data sources and research deadlines simultaneously
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
