📋 Job Description

Jobzi is sourcing qualified candidates for Mason / Bricklayer (Skilled) positions in Coimbatore's private Construction Company sector. 📌 Key Responsibilities

• Execute brick masonry, block work, and stone masonry as per construction drawings and engineer instructions
• Prepare and lay cement mortar at correct mix ratios for brickwork, blockwork, and plastering applications
• Apply cement plaster and rendering to walls and ceilings at specified thickness and surface finish standards
• Assist in RCC shuttering assembly and deshuttering after concrete cube strength verification
• Lay floor tiles, dado tiles, and stone flooring as per layout drawings and site engineer direction
• Use level, plumb bob, and measuring tools to ensure accurate alignment, level, and plumb of all masonry work
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and proper stacking of materials at the worksite

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• ITI in Masonry trade or equivalent construction apprenticeship; experience with a recognised construction contractor is preferred
• 2-8 years of hands-on masonry and bricklaying experience in residential apartment or commercial building construction in Coimbatore
• Skilled in brick and block laying at speed and quality standards required for multi-storey residential construction
• Proficiency in cement plaster application at standard 12mm and 20mm thickness with proper surface finish
• Ability to assist with RCC shuttering and deshuttering operations under site engineer supervision
• Knowledge of mortar mix ratios for brickwork, plastering, and waterproofing applications in construction
• Physical fitness for full-day site work including working at height on scaffold platforms with PPE compliance
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
