• Calculate food cost and gross margin for each new menu item and ensure they meet the hub's target margin thresholds.
• Test new recipes for packaging compatibility, travel stability, and presentation quality after delivery simulation.
• Research consumer food trends on aggregator platforms and social media to identify high-demand delivery menu opportunities.
• Benchmark competitor cloud kitchen menus on Zomato and Swiggy to inform menu differentiation and pricing strategy.
• Plan seasonal and festival menu updates for each active brand and coordinate launch timelines with the kitchen and platform teams.
• Collaborate with the social media executive on food photography and content for new menu item launches across delivery brands.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Hotel Management or equivalent culinary qualification with a strong focus on food production and recipe development.
• One to four years of experience in menu development, recipe standardisation, or culinary innovation roles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop delivery-specific recipes that maintain quality, portion consistency, and visual appeal.
• Proficiency in food costing tools and the ability to calculate ingredient cost, yield, and gross margin for new items.
• Understanding of packaging material performance and how it affects food quality during delivery transit.
• Good knowledge of aggregator platform menu trends, consumer rating patterns, and delivery format preferences.
• Creative culinary mindset with the ability to generate commercially viable menu ideas within defined cost constraints.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
