📌 Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across construction floors and ensure MEP installations align with approved drawings
• Review MEP shop drawings and coordinate with structural and architectural drawings to resolve clashes before site execution
• Manage and monitor MEP subcontractors for progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications
• Conduct site inspections of MEP installations including HVAC ducts, electrical conduits, plumbing lines, and fire suppression systems
• Support MEP testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities in coordination with the project engineer
• Maintain MEP site inspection checklists, punch list records, and coordination drawings
• Prepare and submit MEP progress reports and variation documentation to the project manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 1-5 years of MEP coordination experience in a construction or project management role
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services on building construction or fit-out projects
• Ability to read and review MEP shop drawings and coordinate with structural and architectural drawings for clash resolution
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing and drainage, and fire protection systems in multi-storey buildings
• Familiarity with MEP commissioning procedures and testing protocols for building services systems
• Good coordination and communication skills for managing MEP subcontractors across multiple work zones
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and marking up MEP coordination drawings
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
