📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished food products as per FSSAI and internal micro specifications
• Conduct total plate count, coliform, E. coli, Salmonella, yeast, mould, and Staphylococcus testing using standard methods
• Prepare bacteriological culture media, reagents, and diluents for routine testing using aseptic technique
• Operate and maintain autoclave, biosafety cabinet, incubators, and colony counters in the microbiology lab
• Maintain sterility validation and environmental monitoring records for production clean zones
• Calibrate and verify micro lab equipment and maintain calibration logs as per lab quality standards
• Prepare and review micro test reports and escalate out-of-specification results to the QA manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Which microbiological methods have you used for food pathogen testing - ISO or AOAC methods?
• Have you performed Salmonella or E. coli testing for food samples?
• Are you comfortable with aseptic technique and biosafety cabinet operation?
• Have you maintained autoclave and incubator operation and calibration records?
• Have you conducted environmental monitoring in a food production area?
• Which food matrices have you analysed - raw materials, in-process, or finished products?
• Are you familiar with FSSAI microbiological standards for packaged food categories?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
