📌 Key Responsibilities
- Develop garment patterns from technical design specifications, approved samples, or buyer measurement charts using CAD software
- Grade base size patterns into the required size set as per buyer grading rules and generate a complete graded nest
- Create optimised fabric markers in Lectra or Gerber marker making software and calculate fabric consumption for costing
- Interpret and implement buyer fit comments on patterns after fit sessions and generate revised patterns and updated measurement charts
- Develop and maintain a block pattern library for standard garment categories produced by the factory
- Coordinate with the sampling and production teams to clarify pattern-related queries and provide updated pattern files for production
- Generate and maintain cut plan and lay plan records for all active styles and assist the cutting department with pattern placement
