📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cement grinding or building materials plant shift operations and manage a team of operators and helpers
• Monitor production progress against shift targets and take corrective action for deviations
• Ensure all plant operators follow SOPs, work permits, PPE requirements, and plant safety rules
• Review and sign off on shift production logs and daily production summary reports
• Coordinate with QC lab for timely in-process sampling and quality release during the shift
• Monitor yield, throughput, and OEE metrics and escalate abnormal situations to plant management
• Lead pre-shift toolbox talks and conduct safety briefings before each production campaign

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering with 2-7 years of cement or building materials plant experience
• Demonstrated experience in shift supervision and management of plant operator teams in a cement or RMC environment
• Strong knowledge of cement grinding, RMC batching, or building materials production processes
• Familiarity with production log preparation, SOP compliance, and quality checkpoint management
• Understanding of ISO 9001 production quality requirements for cement and concrete products
• Good leadership and communication skills for managing operators and coordinating with QC and maintenance
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends as required by plant operations
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
