📌 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project or Primavera for assigned construction packages and report progress to the project manager
• Oversee daily site execution activities and ensure work proceeds as per approved drawings, specifications, and project programme
• Coordinate with clients, architects, structural consultants, and MEP consultants to resolve design queries and obtain drawing approvals
• Manage subcontractors for scope, schedule, quality, and safety compliance across assigned construction zones
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project progress reports, MIS, and milestone update documents
• Identify and process variation orders, change requests, and claims in coordination with the quantity surveyor
• Monitor project budget expenditure against approved cost estimates and escalate cost overruns to the project manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. Civil Engineering with 2-7 years of project engineering experience in residential, commercial, or industrial building construction
• Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera for construction programme preparation and progress tracking
• Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating with client and consultant teams on building projects
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and execution sequences for multi-storey building projects
• Experience in preparing project progress reports, MIS documentation, and variation order processing
• Good understanding of construction contracts, scope boundaries, and change order management procedures
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for managing multiple stakeholders across the construction project
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
