📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the food safety and quality assurance function for the plant including HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSAI compliance
• Develop and maintain the food safety management system, HACCP plans, prerequisite programmes, and food safety policies
• Plan and execute internal audits, supplier quality audits, and readiness assessments for third-party certification audits
• Manage CAPA processes for customer complaints, non-conformances, and audit findings within defined timelines
• Represent the quality function during FSSAI regulatory inspections, BRC audits, or export certification audits
• Lead and develop the QA team including QC analysts, lab analysts, and food safety coordinators
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for product quality, process consistency, and food safety culture

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Have you led a plant through ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 certification or recertification?
• How do you structure the HACCP team and manage the HACCP plan review cycle?
• Describe a significant CAPA you managed for a food safety non-conformance.
• How do you handle a customer complaint that involves potential food safety risk?
• Have you managed third-party audits such as BRC, FSSC 22000, or FSSAI inspections directly?
• How large was the QA team you have led and how did you structure it?
• What metrics do you track to measure the effectiveness of the food safety management system?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
