📌 Key Responsibilities

• Lead the plant quality function for cement, RMC, or building materials including incoming, in-process, and finished product quality
• Develop and maintain ISO 9001 quality management system documentation, procedures, and internal audit programme
• Handle customer audits, BIS certification inspections, and third-party quality assessments for the plant
• Review and approve product specifications, test methods, Certificates of Analysis, and quality reports
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) for customer complaints and quality deviations
• Monitor lab instrument calibration schedules, proficiency testing, and cross-lab comparison programmes
• Lead and develop a team of QC analysts and QC supervisors across incoming, in-process, and final testing stages

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. Civil or Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. Chemistry with 3-8 years of quality management experience in cement, concrete, or building materials
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 QMS in a cement or building materials plant
• Prior exposure to BIS product certification processes for cement or concrete products is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IS code testing methods for cement, aggregate, concrete, and related building materials
• Leadership experience in managing a team of QC lab analysts and technicians
• Proficiency in quality tools including SPC, Pareto analysis, CAPA, fishbone diagrams, and 8D problem solving
• Good communication and reporting skills for presenting quality performance data to plant management and customers
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
