📌 Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and OTC medicines accurately as per doctor orders and store protocol
• Verify prescriptions for completeness and validity before dispensing
• Counsel patients on dosage, storage, side effects, and drug interactions
• Maintain records of Schedule H and controlled substance dispensing as required by law
• Perform daily stock checks, expiry verification, and FEFO rotation of drug inventory
• Ensure compliance with Drugs and Cosmetics Act provisions at the store level
• Coordinate with store supervisor on indent and replenishment of fast-moving drugs

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• What is your current Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council registration number and renewal status?
• How do you verify a prescription before dispensing a Schedule H drug?
• Describe the FEFO principle and how you apply it to drug stock management?
• What action do you take if a customer presents a prescription for a drug not in stock?
• How do you handle a customer who asks for a prescription drug without a prescription?
• What records must be maintained for narcotic and psychotropic substance dispensing?
• How do you advise a patient on storage conditions for temperature-sensitive medicines?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
