📌 Key Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in prospects, understand their fitness goals and health background, conduct a centre tour, and present appropriate membership packages to convert walk-ins into paid member registrations.
• Follow up with all membership enquiries received through phone, social media, and digital leads within a defined response time window and work the lead pipeline to achieve monthly conversion targets.
• Present membership package options including monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, explain the benefits of each tier, handle cost objections, and close memberships with the appropriate payment process.
• Update all lead interactions, membership conversions, and follow-up activities in the CRM system daily to maintain accurate sales pipeline visibility for the centre manager.
• Contact existing members approaching membership expiry to offer renewal packages, upgrade options, and loyalty discounts to retain members within the centre's active base.
• Manage the member referral programme by tracking referral leads from existing members, following up with referred contacts, and crediting referral benefits to the referring member on successful conversion.
• Achieve daily and monthly membership sales targets set by the centre manager by maintaining a disciplined lead management routine, follow-up consistency, and strong conversion pitch skills.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline with strong verbal communication skills in Tamil and English for presenting membership packages and handling sales objections with confident and persuasive delivery.
• Prior experience in membership sales, retail sales, or service-sector inside sales is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to meet monthly sales targets consistently.
• Familiarity with CRM tools for lead capture, follow-up scheduling, and conversion tracking to maintain accurate sales pipeline records.
• Good objection handling skills for addressing common membership cost concerns, competitor comparisons, and trial period requests with effective responses.
• Knowledge of common gym membership package structures including types of plans, add-on services such as personal training and nutrition consultation, and loyalty programme benefits.
• Ability to conduct a compelling and persuasive gym tour for walk-in prospects by highlighting equipment quality, class schedules, hygiene standards, and trainer expertise.
• Target-driven attitude with the discipline to maintain a daily calling and follow-up routine for both cold and warm leads in the membership sales pipeline.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
