📌 Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise-grade cloud data lake and data lakehouse solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Lead the design of real-time and batch data ingestion frameworks using Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, and Flink
• Implement data quality frameworks and lineage tracking using tools such as Great Expectations and Apache Atlas
• Define and enforce data engineering best practices including modular pipeline design, testing, and CI/CD for data code
• Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers on distributed computing, cloud architecture, and pipeline optimisation
• Collaborate with solutions architects and data scientists to define infrastructure requirements for ML model serving
• Drive platform modernisation initiatives including migration from legacy ETL tools to cloud-native architectures

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. Computer Science with four to nine years of progressive data engineering experience in cloud environments
• Expert Python and PySpark skills for large-scale distributed data processing
• Deep experience designing data lake architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP including storage, compute, and governance layers
• Hands-on experience with modern data tools such as Delta Lake, dbt, Apache Kafka, or Apache Flink
• Experience implementing DataOps practices including automated pipeline testing and CI/CD for data workflows
• Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and access control in cloud data platforms
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor a team of data engineers
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
