📌 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities and manage a team of masons, bar benders, carpenters, and helpers at the project site
• Track daily progress against weekly targets and prepare the daily progress report for submission to the project engineer
• Control material issuance from site store and maintain material consumption records for each work package
• Coordinate with subcontractors on work scheduling, labour deployment, and daily progress targets
• Enforce PPE usage, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards across all work zones on the site
• Maintain site measurement books and assist the quantity surveyor in bill preparation and measurements
• Escalate design queries, material shortages, and labour issues promptly to the project engineer

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering from a polytechnic or recognised institution; ITI with substantial site experience is also considered
• 1-5 years of site supervision experience in residential, commercial, or industrial building construction
• Demonstrated ability to manage a mixed workforce of masons, bar benders, and carpenters with daily target accountability
• Knowledge of construction drawing reading, measurement book preparation, and basic quality checks
• Familiarity with construction safety protocols including PPE enforcement, access scaffold checks, and housekeeping standards
• Good communication skills in Tamil for interacting with labour contractors and skilled tradespeople on site
• Physical fitness and willingness to be present full-time at the construction site across working shifts
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
