📌 Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily social media posting schedules for client brand accounts across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter or X platforms
• Create and coordinate social media content calendars aligned with client PR campaigns, product launches, and earned media opportunities
• Monitor brand mentions, hashtags, and conversations across social platforms using social listening tools and report sentiment and trends to account managers
• Respond to comments, queries, and community interactions on client social media profiles in a manner consistent with the client's brand tone and PR messaging
• Support crisis communications response on social media by drafting holding statements, monitoring escalating conversations, and coordinating with senior PR leads
• Track social media performance metrics including engagement rate, reach, follower growth, and share of voice for monthly client reports
• Coordinate with the content writing and design teams to brief and receive creative assets required for social media posts, campaigns, and announcements

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or any discipline with hands-on social media management experience
• 0 to 3 years of experience managing brand social media accounts including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter or X
• Understanding of how PR strategy connects with social media brand management, particularly around earned media amplification and reputation protection
• Experience using social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Meltwater, or similar platforms to monitor brand mentions and sentiment
• Strong written communication skills in English for community management and drafting responsive social media content under time pressure
• Ability to support crisis communications on social media by drafting holding statements and escalating issues appropriately to senior PR leads
• Familiarity with social media analytics platforms and the ability to compile monthly performance reports covering key engagement and reputation metrics
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
