📌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting running, training, court, and outdoor sports footwear based on their activity profile
• Explain technical product features including cushioning technology, midsole type, outsole grip, and upper breathability
• Recommend appropriate shoe size and fit using foot scanning tools or standard sizing charts
• Achieve monthly sales targets for sports footwear category assigned by the store supervisor
• Maintain awareness of current seasonal sports footwear collections, colourways, and limited releases
• Upsell sports socks, insoles, and performance accessories during customer consultation
• Support POS billing and handle basic exchange requests during peak store hours

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 12th pass from a recognised board in any stream
• Personal interest in running, fitness, or sports is an advantage for product credibility
• Basic understanding of running and training shoe features and how they relate to activity type
• Strong consultative communication skills to guide customers through technical product comparisons
• Willingness to work rotational shifts including weekends and public holidays
• Physical fitness and stamina for standing and active customer service on the sports floor
• Freshers with sports or fitness backgrounds are welcome; prior footwear retail experience is preferred
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

12th pass or Graduate for retail sales and customer service roles; Graduate or Diploma in Retail Management for store management roles; knowledge of GST on footwear categories and HSN codes for billing roles; ITI Leather or Cobbler trade for footwear repair and cobbling roles; knowledge of shoe sizing systems (India, UK, EU, US) and last measurements for fitting roles; communication skills in Tamil and English for all customer-facing roles; Tally for store accounts roles; familiarity with footwear brand seasonal catalogues and style numbers for sales roles
