📌 Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments via cash, card, UPI, and other digital modes
• Operate the POS terminal accurately for all sale and return transactions
• Balance the cash till at the beginning and end of each shift
• Maintain denomination-wise cash records and flag shortages or excesses to the supervisor
• Issue accurate receipts and bills to customers at the payment counter
• Manage customer flow at the payment counter efficiently during peak hours
• Support the billing executive with receipt reprints and payment confirmation queries

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• How do you balance your cash till at the end of a shift if there is a shortage?
• Describe your process for handling a large cash payment and giving correct change
• How do you verify a UPI or card payment has been successfully processed before releasing the bill?
• What do you do if a customer disputes the amount charged at the payment counter?
• How do you manage a long queue at the cashier counter during a busy period?
• What records do you maintain for denomination-wise cash in your till?
• How would you handle a suspected counterfeit note presented by a customer?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
