📌 Key Responsibilities

• Hold full P and L accountability for the footwear store including sales, costs, gross margin, and shrinkage
• Set and drive monthly sales targets for all footwear categories including sports, formal, ethnic, kids, and accessories
• Recruit, train, and manage the store team including sales staff, cashiers, and stockroom executives
• Oversee inventory management including size-wise stock control, stockroom organisation, and shrinkage reduction
• Coordinate with footwear suppliers and distributors on timely delivery, exchange, and return logistics
• Manage all store compliance requirements including safety standards, licensing, and staff conduct
• Prepare and present weekly store performance reports to the area manager or regional office

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university; MBA in Retail Management or Business Administration is preferred
• Four to ten years of footwear or fashion retail experience with at least two years managing a full store
• Demonstrated track record of achieving store sales targets and managing store-level P and L
• Strong leadership skills for managing a team of ten to thirty store staff across multiple functions
• Good understanding of footwear product categories, sizing, and inventory management principles
• Proficiency in retail ERP for inventory and sales reporting; Tally knowledge is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English for team, vendor, and corporate stakeholder management
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

12th pass or Graduate for retail sales and customer service roles; Graduate or Diploma in Retail Management for store management roles; knowledge of GST on footwear categories and HSN codes for billing roles; ITI Leather or Cobbler trade for footwear repair and cobbling roles; knowledge of shoe sizing systems (India, UK, EU, US) and last measurements for fitting roles; communication skills in Tamil and English for all customer-facing roles; Tally for store accounts roles; familiarity with footwear brand seasonal catalogues and style numbers for sales roles
