📌 Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the footwear store floor including sales staff attendance, floor coverage, and customer service standards
• Monitor daily and weekly sales targets for the store and brief the team on performance gaps and focus areas
• Manage staff rostering and shift allocation to ensure adequate floor coverage during peak and off-peak hours
• Oversee floor replenishment from the stockroom and ensure all size and style gaps on display are promptly addressed
• Handle customer escalations that go beyond the authority of floor sales staff
• Ensure visual merchandising displays and planogram layouts are maintained as per the VM team's instructions
• Prepare and submit daily sales reports and stock availability summaries to the store manager

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university
• Two to five years of footwear or fashion retail experience with at least one year in a team leader or supervisory role
• Strong floor management skills for supervising a team of five to fifteen sales staff
• Ability to drive sales target achievement through team briefing, floor coverage, and upselling coaching
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English for managing staff and handling customer escalations
• Basic knowledge of footwear product categories, sizing, and stockroom management
• Proficiency in generating daily sales reports using store ERP or POS system
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.

12th pass or Graduate for retail sales and customer service roles; Graduate or Diploma in Retail Management for store management roles; knowledge of GST on footwear categories and HSN codes for billing roles; ITI Leather or Cobbler trade for footwear repair and cobbling roles; knowledge of shoe sizing systems (India, UK, EU, US) and last measurements for fitting roles; communication skills in Tamil and English for all customer-facing roles; Tally for store accounts roles; familiarity with footwear brand seasonal catalogues and style numbers for sales roles
