📌 Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure cement raw materials including clinker, gypsum, fly ash, slag, and chemical additives from approved vendors
• Raise and track purchase orders through SAP MM or ERP system and follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules
• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers for raw materials, consumables, and plant maintenance items
• Negotiate rates, delivery terms, and payment conditions with raw material and consumable vendors
• Monitor raw material inventory levels at plant and coordinate with production planning for timely replenishment
• Prepare and verify DGFT import documentation for imported clinker, gypsum, or specialty additives
• Maintain purchase records, vendor contracts, compliance documentation, and supplier evaluation reports

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate in Commerce, Science, or B.E. in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain is an advantage
• 0-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchase function in a cement, building materials, or manufacturing company
• Familiarity with cement raw material supply chain including clinker, gypsum, fly ash, slag, and chemical admixtures
• Working knowledge of ERP purchase modules such as SAP MM or Tally ERP for purchase order and inventory management
• Knowledge of DGFT import procedures and customs documentation for imported cement raw materials is preferred
• Good coordination and negotiation skills for managing multiple raw material vendors and logistics partners
• Attention to detail for maintaining accurate purchase records and supplier qualification documents
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
