📌 Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for the entire construction operations function including all active projects, business development, and organisational capability
• Own multi-project P and L, company-level financial performance, and strategic cost and risk management for the construction business
• Define and execute construction company growth strategy including new market entry, sector diversification, and capacity building
• Lead bid strategy for large project tenders, lead commercial negotiations, and represent the company in contract finalisation
• Build organisational capabilities including talent acquisition, leadership development, technology adoption, and process standardisation
• Report company operational and financial performance to the board, directors, and investors on a regular basis
• Drive adoption of construction technology including BIM, project management platforms, digital quality systems, and EHS management tools

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.E. Civil Engineering with 18-30 years of progressive construction leadership; an MBA in Construction Management or general management is preferred for COO and VP-level roles
• Demonstrated multi-project P and L ownership at a private construction company with revenues of Rs.500 crore or more
• Proven track record in business development, tender leadership, and winning large-scale construction contracts in the private sector
• Strong executive-level client and promoter relationship management with experience in complex multi-stakeholder construction environments
• Excellent strategic leadership, organisational development, and talent management skills for a construction company team of 200 or more
• Experience in construction technology adoption including BIM, digital site management platforms, and EHS tracking systems
• Board-level communication, investor reporting, and financial strategy skills appropriate for senior leadership in a private construction company
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
