📌 Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, escort them to assigned tables, and present menus promptly and courteously on arrival.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and enter orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages from the kitchen to tables in correct sequence following the restaurant's service protocol.
• Maintain assigned floor section by clearing tables, resetting covers, and ensuring cleanliness throughout service.
• Address guest queries about menu items, ingredients, and portion sizes with accurate and helpful information.
• Upsell food and beverage items including desserts, add-ons, and beverages to improve average cover value.
• Process guest bills accurately at the end of each meal and assist with POS transactions including card and UPI payments.

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• 10th or 12th pass certificate; hotel management or food service training diploma is an advantage.
• Zero to two years of experience in restaurant, hotel, or banquet food and beverage service.
• Good spoken Tamil and basic English communication skills for interacting with a diverse Coimbatore dining audience.
• Neat and professional appearance with strong personal grooming standards required by restaurant brands.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage menu items, service sequences, and table etiquette.
• Ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously during peak lunch and dinner service hours.
• Willingness to work evening and weekend shifts as required by the restaurant's operational schedule.
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Coimbatore.
