📌 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day plant accounts including purchase, sales, and expense booking in the ERP accounting system
• Prepare product costing sheets for chemical batches including raw material, utility, and overhead cost allocation
• Ensure GST compliance including input tax credit reconciliation, e-way bill generation, and monthly return support
• Process vendor payments, verify invoices against purchase orders and goods receipt, and manage payment schedules
• Perform periodic inventory valuation of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods for financial reporting
• Conduct bank reconciliation and assist in monthly closing activities including provisions and accruals
• Prepare MIS reports on plant expenses, cost variances, and budget versus actual performance for management review

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• B.Com or M.Com with 0-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or chemical company
• Working knowledge of GST compliance including e-way bills, input tax credit, and return filing support
• Familiarity with ERP accounting systems such as Tally ERP or SAP FI for transaction processing
• Understanding of product costing concepts including raw material, utility, and overhead cost allocation
• Good analytical skills for inventory valuation and monthly financial closing activities
• Attention to detail for vendor invoice verification, payment processing, and bank reconciliation
• Ability to prepare clear MIS reports and support statutory and internal audit requirements
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
