📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate DCS consoles and field instruments during assigned shifts
• Conduct routine rounds of chemical plant equipment and record process parameters
• Assist in batch preparation and transfer of chemical raw materials
• Carry out manual field operations including valve manipulation and sampling
• Report deviations in process parameters to shift supervisor promptly
• Maintain shift logs, operator rounds registers, and handover documentation
• Follow LOTO, work permit, and PPE protocols for all field activities

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognised polytechnic or ITI Chemical Plant Operator trade
• Knowledge of DCS or SCADA operation in a chemical or petrochemical plant preferred
• Familiarity with process flow in batch or continuous chemical manufacturing
• Basic understanding of chemical hazard identification and MSDS interpretation
• Ability to perform shift duties including nights and weekends as required
• Physically fit to work in chemical plant environment with appropriate PPE
• Good observation skills and ability to respond quickly to process alarms
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
