📌 Key Responsibilities

• Perform bench testing and functional checks on avionics line replaceable units returned from aircraft for repair
• Assist AME B2 engineers in avionics LRU removal, installation, and system confirmation tests on aircraft
• Inspect avionics wiring harnesses and connectors for damage, corrosion, or incorrect routing per wiring diagram
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and avionics test sets to verify signal parameters and unit serviceability
• Document test results, fault codes, and component traceability information in the repair station records
• Assist in calibration of avionics test equipment and maintain calibration records for the repair station
• Carry out soldering, PCB rework, and connector repair tasks to manufacturer repair procedures

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have a Diploma or B.E. in ECE or Electronics with exposure to avionics or aircraft electronics systems?
• Are you familiar with using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators for avionics testing?
• Have you performed LRU bench testing or functional checks using avionics automated test equipment?
• Can you read and interpret avionics circuit diagrams, wiring diagram manuals, or component maintenance manuals?
• Are you comfortable with calibration documentation and maintaining traceable records for a repair station?
• Do you have basic PCB soldering or connector repair skills to IPC-A-610 or similar standards?
• Are you aware of ESD precautions and handling requirements for sensitive avionics components?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
