📌 Key Responsibilities

• Characterise lithium-ion cells using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, rate capability, and cycle life testing
• Develop and optimise electrode slurry formulations and coating parameters for cathode and anode manufacturing
• Design formation and aging protocols to stabilise newly assembled cells before pack integration
• Perform failure analysis on returned or field-failed cells using SEM, EDX, and post-mortem teardown
• Evaluate new cell chemistries including NMC, LFP, and NCA variants for energy density and safety targets
• Collaborate with BMS team to align cell models with hardware protection parameters
• Maintain cell testing records and generate electrochemical performance reports for engineering review
