- Conduct risk assessments for lithium-ion battery handling, electrolyte storage, and high-voltage assembly areas
- Organise and lead fire fighting drills, evacuation exercises, and thermal runaway emergency response simulations
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act provisions, OSHA guidelines, and Tamil Nadu pollution control board requirements
- Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses involving battery chemicals, electrical hazards, and assembly line injuries
- Maintain HAZMAT registers for battery electrolytes, NMP solvents, and fluorinated compounds used in electrode manufacturing
- Train production staff on PPE usage, battery chemistry hazards, and emergency procedures for lithium-ion fire events
