📌 Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe, VMC, or HMC machines for auto component machining
• Load and verify CNC programs before each production run
• Set tool offsets and perform first-piece inspection
• Carry out in-process gauging using micrometers, verniers, and plug gauges
• Record production output, rejections, and tool life data
• Perform routine machine maintenance and lubrication checks
• Raise alerts for tool wear, machine faults, or out-of-tolerance parts

🎓 Qualifications and Requirements

• Do you have hands-on experience operating CNC lathe or VMC/HMC machines?
• Can you read and interpret G-code and M-code programs?
• Are you familiar with setting tool offsets and carrying out first-piece inspection?
• Do you have experience with in-process gauging tools such as micrometers and plug gauges?
• Have you worked in an auto component or precision parts machining environment?
• Are you comfortable with shift work including night shifts?
• Do you have any CNC programming training from ITI, polytechnic, or a private institute?
• Good Tamil and English communication skills for team coordination and client interaction in Chennai.
